Terms & Conditions

1. Event Details

Client agrees to provide accurate information regarding the event date, time, location, expected guest count, and menu selections. Any changes must be communicated in writing.

2. Payment Terms

A deposit is required to secure the event date. Deposits are fully refundable if the Client cancels at least 3 weeks before the event date. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than the day of the event before service begins. Service will not begin until payment is received in full.

3. Cancellation Policy

Deposits follow the refund schedule listed above. Cancellations made within seventy two hours of the event will require the Client to pay fifty percent of the remaining balance due to time, labor, and product costs.

4. Menu and Service

Goldies Kitchen will provide food and services based on the selections listed in the Client’s invoice. Any additional services or menu changes may adjust the total cost. The Caterer is not responsible for issues caused by inaccurate guest counts or last minute changes.

5. Media Consent

Goldies Kitchen may take photos or short videos of food, setup, and event moments for marketing and portfolio use. Client grants Goldies Kitchen permission to use this media on business websites, social platforms, or promotional materials. If the Client does not want any media taken or used, they must notify Goldies Kitchen in writing before the service date. If no notice is given, consent is assumed.

6. Client Conduct and Public Statements

The Client agrees to communicate respectfully with Goldies Kitchen staff at all times. Harassment, threats, or discriminatory behavior toward staff will not be tolerated. The Client also agrees not to publish or communicate any false statements presented as factual claims about Goldies Kitchen LLC, its staff, or its services. Knowingly false statements, defamatory remarks, or slander posted on social media or in any public forum with the intent to damage the reputation of Goldies Kitchen LLC may result in legal action under applicable defamation laws.

7. Liability

Goldies Kitchen follows all food safety standards. Once food is delivered and set out for service, responsibility for proper food handling transfers to the Client. Temperature maintenance becomes the responsibility of the client unless set-up service is included. Goldies Kitchen is not liable for illness or issues that occur after the food has been delivered or served.

8. Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Goldies Kitchen harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from factors outside the Caterer’s control. Delivery for drop off orders may be fulfilled through a third party delivery service. Once food is handed off to the delivery driver the caterer no longer controls transport time vehicle conditions or hot holding methods.

9. Pan Orders

For events booked more than 90 days in advance, Goldie’s Kitchen prioritizes full service catering and on site setup events. Pan and drop off orders requested during this timeframe may be accepted on a tentative basis and are subject to change if a full service event is booked for the same date.  Final confirmation for all tentative orders will be provided 60 days prior to the event date.
